You own forty chests. You remember what is in three of them.
Every Skyrim playthrough ends up in the same place. There is a chest for ore, a chest for ingredients, a chest for the things that did not fit in the other chests, and a ritual you perform before every crafting session: open, take, close, walk, open, take, close, walk, forge, realise you forgot the leather strips, walk back.
Dwemer Logistics deletes that ritual.
Your crafting stations read straight out of your chests. One key empties your pack into wherever each item actually belongs. And when you are three days from home with a pack full of ore, you conjure a Dwarven construct and it ships the lot back for you.
Not a bigger backpack. Not a magic bag of holding. A supply chain - which is what you actually wanted the whole time.

Point at a chest. Press a key. It is registered. By default it accepts anything it already holds at least one of, so the chest you have been throwing ore into is now the ore chest.
Fill your pack. Press another key. Everything sorts itself. Ore to the ore chest, pelts to the pelt chest, the odd thing that matches nowhere stays in your pack.
Walk up to a forge. Press the panel key. The recipe list already knows about every material in every registered chest nearby. Queue thirty iron daggers and go make tea.
Need some help in your journeys against your enemies? Summon one of the three type of Dwemer automaton that will fight for you, hold your items and even send them to your home. It's not magic, it's technology! (Okay, there's something mag
