A lore-friendly light armor set inspired by studded leather from tabletop fantasy, designed from scratch for balanced gameplay. The set is split into four vanilla-style pieces (body, gloves, boots, mask/scarf as a helmet) and is craftable at the forge using the same materials as regular leather armor plus an added steel ingot. Crafting requires the Steel Smithing perk and a crafting book that can be found in the world (notably near the "Light Armor Forging" book at Embershard Mine).
Statwise the armor is slightly superior to standard leather: it provides +1 AC and a higher value while keeping the same weight. It is temperable with leather, and Steel Smithing improves its upgrades. Full Skypatcher integration is included so the set appears in leveled lists: bandits may wear it, stores and blacksmiths can sell the armor and its book, and the crafting book is guaranteed to spawn in some general goods stores such as Belethor's.
Installation is handled via your mod manager, where you can choose which body files to install and enable or disable Skypatcher integration. If you do not use vanilla bodies, build the supplied bodies in Bodyslide (prebuilt Obody meshes for 3BA and HIMBO are included if you use that setup). PBR textures require PGPatcher to function correctly.
