Modern Loot Notifications — Right‑side Loot Feed
Replaces the tiny bottom‑left loot text with a modern, right‑side notification feed styled to match the Witcher UI, with animations, queueing and live in‑game settings.
- Right‑side notification panels with icon, name and stack count styled to Witcher UI
- Smooth slide‑in/out animations with ordered stack shifting
- Queue system (default 5 visible, configurable up to 8) that preserves all pickups
- Applies to all receipts: looting, gathering, quest rewards, purchases and crafting
- Live in‑game settings (position, size, max visible, display time) and full 17‑language localization
Requirements: Built for next‑gen (4.0+); install the main mod into The Witcher 3\Mods\modModernLootNotifications\content\... and optionally add modModernLootNotifications.xml to bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc\dx11filelist.txt and dx12filelist.txt (or use a menu filelist updater) to enable the in‑game settings menu.
Modern Loot Notifications replaces the unreliable bottom‑left “Received item” text with a modern notification feed similar to contemporary ARPGs. Clean panels appear on the right side of the screen showing item icon, name and stack count in a dark bordered, gold‑accented style that matches the Witcher UI. Each notification slides in, holds, then slides out with smooth animations; stacked pickups shift up in strict pickup order. A queue system displays up to 5 notifications at once by default (configurable up to 8), so large loot hauls flow through the queue without loss. The mod covers all incoming items — looting corpses and containers, gathering herbs, quest rewards, purchases and crafting results — and disables the old bottom‑left console spam and the vanilla loot toast. An optional settings menu file enables live customization (Options → Mods → Loot Notifications) for position, size, max visible count and display time; changes apply within seconds without restart. The interface is localized in all 17 game languages. Installation requires the main mod files; an optional settings XML must be added to the game’s dx11filelist.txt and dx12filelist.txt in bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc or managed with a menu filelist updater. Built for next‑gen (4.0+), the mod is designed to be merge‑friendly and works with standard mod managers or manual installation.
