Kingdom Come voice actor Luke Dale says the game's success didn't lead to more game roles
Luke Dale, who voices Lord Hans Capon in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, says despite the series' popularity his work didn't open doors across the industry. He’s turned to streaming while noting Warhorse supported him even if the wider industry didn’t.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s standout performances include Tom McKay as Henry and Luke Dale as Lord Hans Capon. But Dale told Firezide Chat that, despite millions of players and praise for his work, it hasn’t translated into more game roles: “I wish I could say that Kingdom Come 2, the work I've done and the fact it's been played by millions of people led to more work, but it didn't.” He said he’d hoped KCD1 and 2 would lead to more opportunities, but “the industry at large has never really given a f***.” Dale praised Warhorse as “absolute gems” for their support. According to his IMDb, his other videogame credits are Battlefield 5 and the VR title TaVRn's Takedown – Naheulbeuk. That experience pushed him into streaming—he currently has 72,000 Twitch followers—and he says, “If more acting work comes from this, great, but I'm not going to rely on that.”
