The legendary ships return tougher in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. Fully upgrade the Jackdaw and recruit the new naval officers to stand a chance — rewards have changed and the ships now respawn.
Legendary ships were the pinnacle challenge in the original and return stronger in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, with new gimmicks, clearer phases and heavier damage. There are four, revealed after you destroy the fortresses in their regions: El Impoluto (Dry Tortuga); HMS Fearless & Royal Sovereign (Eleuthera); La Dama Negra (Serranilla); and HMS Prince (Nevassa). They’re extremely tough and demand an almost or fully upgraded Jackdaw. Aim for the best armour, broadside and swivel cannons, and the ram—see the Ultimate Ship Plans, some of which are hidden behind treasure maps. Recruit the three new naval officers before tackling them: Padre (from A Second Chance after Sequence 4: This Old Cove) lets you charge the ram for extra speed and damage, and Lucy Baldwin is unlocked in A Proper Shipwright after Sequence 4: This Old Cove. Rewards have been changed, and the legendary ships now respawn so you can face them again.
