Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 falls to $24 in Steam Summer Sale, gets free new quest
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is 60% off in the Steam Summer Sale, and developer Warhorse has added a free quest to celebrate.
If you’ve been hesitating on Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, now’s a great time to jump in: during the Steam Summer Sale Warhorse has dropped the price to $24, with the Royal Edition (which includes three DLC story packs) priced at $32. PC Gamer gave KCD2 a 90% review, calling it “a new RPG classic” — an expansive Bohemian open-world that feels more Oblivion than fantasy and echoes some of The Witcher 3’s best features, like deep conversations, romance, and standout side quests. Early impressions of the DLC vary: one pack’s shield-painting addition felt slight, while others have gotten better reception. A patch released with the sale also adds a free quest, “A Jester’s Visit”: “A peculiar Jester has started to appear in front of the Hangman’s Halter Tavern shouting about a strange new game. A new quest awaits.” The original 2018 Kingdom Come: Deliverance is also on sale for $6.
