Adam Smith, who ran Ground Branch's 2012 Kickstarter and now serves as writing director at Larian, hasn't put out updates on the tactical shooter since the campaign. The game is now set to reach v1.0 after eight years in Early Access.
Ground Branch, a first-person tactical shooter from an original Rainbow Six developer, is finally moving to v1.0 after eight years in Early Access. Adam Smith, who first launched the game's 2012 Kickstarter, hasn’t offered a public update on development since that coverage. Smith has said he’s been too busy—now working as writing director at Larian—but critics argue it’s a matter of time management. After a long Early Access run, the project is now slated to exit that phase and reach its full 1.0 release.
