Cinder City is among the first PC games to recommend 64GB of RAM
NC's upcoming PC title Cinder City lists 64GB of RAM in its recommended specs, a costly suggestion as 64GB kits can now reach around $1,000. The game's Steam page shows unusually high minimum and recommended requirements.
NC (formerly NCSoft) has listed 64GB of RAM as the recommended specification for its upcoming PC game Cinder City, making it one of the first titles to do so. The Steam page, added recently and noted by Wccftech, describes Cinder City as an open-world co‑op PvE shooter set in a near-future dystopian Seoul where players battle mutated creatures. Minimum specs include 32GB of RAM, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 (6GB), and an Intel Core i5-10400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600. Recommended specs jump to 64GB of RAM, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 (8GB), and an Intel Core i7-12700 or AMD Ryzen 7800X3D. By contrast, recent PC releases such as Forza Horizon 6, 007 First Light, Death Stranding 2, Resident Evil Requiem and Crimson Desert list just 16GB of RAM as their recommendation.
