CD Projekt Red Thanks 6,000 Edgerunners 2 Advance Viewers for Keeping Premiere Spoiler-Free
At Anime Expo 2026, thousands who saw the first episode of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 kept silent — and CD Projekt Red publicly thanked them for it.
GamesRadar reports that about 6,000 fans attended an advance screening of the first episode of Studio Trigger’s Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 at LA’s Crypto.com Arena during Anime Expo 2026. Despite the size of the audience and the show's profile, CD Projekt Red said the episode hasn’t leaked online and thanked attendees for not recording or sharing footage. “So far, the first episode streamed at Anime Expo hasn't leaked,” wrote CDPR’s Japanese associate country director Satoru Homma on Twitter. Global PR director Radek Grabowski added thanks for helping keep the screening spoiler-free and urged fans to experience the season together when the show launches this fall. The company noted there may still be plot descriptions online, but expressed satisfaction with the general lack of leaks.
