When Microsoft acquired Bethesda, our first thought was that it might be bad — and our next was that maybe Obsidian would get to make Fallout: New Vegas 2. After the Fallout TV show proved a hit, the lack of a new game felt odd. Now reports suggest Obsidian may actually be working on a new Fallout RPG, with Microsoft reportedly putting Josh Sawyer — the director of Fallout: New Vegas — at the helm as part of an “Xbox reset.” Bloomberg cautions the situation is still in flux and could change.
