Grid Legends and TopSpin 2K25 to Lose Online Services
Delisted Games spotted notices from EA and 2K: Grid Legends will lose online service on PlayStation and Xbox on September 11 this year, while TopSpin 2K25’s online support will end on December 31, 2027.
Delisted Games spotted notices from EA and 2K announcing upcoming server closures. EA says Grid Legends will lose online service on PlayStation and Xbox on September 11 this year; its Steam and Switch 2 editions will keep servers. 2K announced TopSpin 2K25’s online support will go offline on December 31, 2027, after earlier plans to close servers at the end of 2026—giving players an extra year. 2K called continued support for older titles while managing newer ones “commercially unfeasible,” and EA said that as player populations fall, “it's no longer feasible to continue the behind-the-scenes work” required to operate them. Fans still playing these games are likely to be disappointed, particularly since TopSpin 2K25 is the series’ newest entry.
