Breaking Down GTA 6’s New Screenshots, Pricing, and Preorders

Rockstar has announced pricing and preorder info for Grand Theft Auto 6 and released a batch of screenshots and artwork. GameSpot’s Jake Dekker analyzed the new media and, while Rockstar kept concrete details about the Leonida setting and story sparse, a few tidbits emerged. The $100 Ultimate Edition includes two named weapons—the Hawk and Little Morgan revolvers—described as “his and hers,” etched with Lucia Caminos’ and Jason Duval’s names (the “Morgan” bit might nod to Arthur Morgan). President Hardin, who previously appeared on a $100 bill in GTA Online, shows up on cash in an image. Lucia and Jason also appear together in a screenshot with the Shitzu Squalo watercraft, which may hint at playable character switching. A description for the ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy notes Paradise Garage has “a secure place to deposit stolen goods to be fenced,” suggesting fenced goods could feature more prominently than in past entries.
