Bungie lets Destiny 2's infinite-damage Artifact bug run for a week
A Monument of Triumph update introduced a “near infinite damage” Artifact-stacking bug. Bungie says a fix is likely next week but is letting players use it in PvE while disabling Artifacts in PvP.
The Monument of Triumph update for Destiny 2 introduced a “near infinite damage” bug that lets players stack multiples of the same seasonal Artifact perks for absurd damage. Bungie says a fix is planned ("next week likely") but is letting players enjoy the chaos in PvE: "Go ahead. Get out there, beat up on Atheon. Destroy some bosses. Do your thing." Artifacts are disabled in PvP to avoid what Bungie called "The Artifactening," but bosses remain vulnerable. Community clips show stacked mods (seven has been highlighted) massively boosting abilities, and the update also revived boss-punting cheese—GamesRadar noted a clip of Esoterickk sending The Pantheon’s Morgeth over the edge.
